You need some experience with PS if you're going to use this.
Some parts of the tutorial may be odd or incomplete, that's because writing to a text file while taking screens and creating the image at the same time can be a bit confusing. :S
I just pasted the text and screens on this big one after I finished the image.
Anyways, I hope you learn something from it.
EDIT: If the final image looks ugly or odd. Remember to set your screen brightness and contrast to a much darker value. I always seem to noticed how much uglier my images look when I switch between my computers.
Great tutorial.
I don't have photoshop, so maybe i'll try to do this with the GIMP but i'm not sure it will work as you seems to use some photoshop-specific effects.
this rules, everone goes for negative space nebulae tuts, but this is awesome, thanks a lot. I'll try and whore this out somewhere, IT NEEDS MORE ATTENTION

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
