The tropical moon Tropica in a distant solarsystem.

Been a while since I submitted something. Sometimes I can have months when it's just very hard to feel creative. I've been working on this one in ps for a couple of days now. I was inspired by [link] and his excellent tropical city deviation. o_o

I'm not sure how this will look on a crt/lcd/tft monitor with a very high screen-brightness, some of the textures on the cliffs may look very odd. I can't help it, but my own crt monitor is extremely dark, even with the highest settings. (both hardware and software ;_; ) It should look fine if your contrast and brightness isn't too high.

Quite talented with the planets, as usual. However, one small criticism: the water in the distance, where the water meets the mountain, looks more like some light-blue goo, but not really water. Or looks like computer-generated. I think the reflection should've been darker, as well as the water itself in the distance.

Other than that, I hope you know that I'm one of the biggest fans of your work

I'm actually trying to mimic you currently (I won't publish my work but it's just to enhance my skills). I like the minimalistic line you've established.

Thanks a lot.

Yeah, now when I look more closely at that area I can see that the water looks like some goo. The transition between the water and mountain was very sharp and hard before I used the blur tool. Couldn't really find a good transition. :/
